| New to here (& cancer)
I am new to this place. Actually, I am new to a whole lot as of late! Tests that began the end of May (& continue on and on) show a huge liposarcoma in my peritoneal pushing everything out of its way. I have numerous tumors in both lungs that are probably from the other mass. What I am wondering, is: the radiologists are having trouble getting a sample from this (+ 32cm x40cm) mass that is anything more than simple fat tissue. The Dr assures me that it IS a liposarcoma, because of the huge mass, and the fast rate of growth. So far I am not hearing of ANY treatment ideas. The only hope (according to the Dr) is identification. Even then, he says that there may be no treatment or hope for much more life. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is there a group or board I can be directed to for answers/support/similar?
