Vitamin D and survival

Hi,

Here is an interesting information.

I read that cancer rate is lower among people who have an adequat amount of vitamin d in their body . I also read it the relapse rate is lower.

But having a too high concentration of vitamin D in the body is not good either.

As always I have to say that I am not a medical specialist and this os not a medical advise. You have to ask your oncologsit and a registered dietitian that to collaborate with your oncologist. If I insist with that it's because it's the best way to have the good amount of nutrients without problems. Ask our oncologist to advise you a good registeredi dietitian who knows well oncology.

Ask them to make analysis of your vitamind D concentrations (in your body)and how to get a adequate amount. Before and after the treatment (on the long term going)

Also ask them how to get the adequate amount during the treatment without meeting problems. It's also important to make analysis of the vitamin D levels in your body during the therapy

I also read that vitamin D works together with calcium, but ask your medical team

Have a nice evening

Calcium correction

When I spoke about Calcium, I spoke about what happen in the body. Not especially about calcium dietary supplement
I read studies that showed that certain doses of calcium supplementation could increase heart attak. Apparently calcium from the food seem to lead to no problems.
So As always ask your medical team (oncologist and reg dietitian) regarding how te get the correct amount of calcium (from food or from dietary supplement if needed) without cardiovascular danger for you.
