Need help. Mother suffering from Candida - Candida Message Board

My mom has had Candida for about 15 years now. She recently purchased something called Threelac,along with already being on the "diet." She also takes Nystatin when needed. The problem is ever since she took the Threelac stuff, she's been unable to keep anything down. I know it's the Candida because pretty much the day she took it, she complained of being sick again. She hasn't been this sick since the beginning of the disease. She also seems to be the only one having such a violent reaction to this Threelac stuff. I need some advice as to what she can eat or take to stop this reaction. This has been going on for four days. Can someone please help?

Can someone help me here? This is now the 6th day and I don't know what to do to stop the nausea. Help!

Use common sense: tell her to stop the Threelac. I looked it up online and it said that bowel movements may change, but nothing about nausea.

How exactly is the Candida presenting itself? Thrush?

She stopped taking it after the first day.

She has Candida throughout her entire body.

Does she have an immune deficiency (or diabetes)? I'm just wondering since you've posted on the immune disorders board.

Is the Nystatin topical or oral? If it's topical, has she tried oral antifungals? If Nystatin isn't doing such a great job, there are other ones out there (Diflucan-fluconazole, Sporanox-itraconazole)

For nausea, she could try taking Pepto-Bismol, but ask her doctor first.
