Candida and h-pylori symptoms - Candida Message Board

Does anyone know what the symptoms of Candida and h-pylori are? Does anyone have one of these and how did you find out?

I took two strong doses of antibiotics back around December and February of last year. Around March I started to develop a whole bunch of GERD issues and SOB.

As I have been taking a strict medication regiment of acidophilus I've noticed my symptoms are getting better. I wonder if the antibiotics had anything to do with this.

Hey Stimi3ak.

I believe H Pylori is diagnosed through biopsy through a endoscopy. I think the symptoms are pretty much the same as Gastritis. My doc said I have a little bit of bacteria in my stomach and this is what might be causing my gastritis. I have my follow up on Thursday and hopefully they will give me some anti biotics.

I was feeling ok until last night I started getting nauseated again. I'm not really worried anymore, just frustrated that this is not going away. Do you still have ongoing problems with gastritis? How long did it take you for to feel normal again?

Hi Gar,

The length of time Gastritis lasts depends on the severity. Mine has lasted for over 3 months now and I have been told I have a low amount of good bacteria in my intestines. That is why I am doing the acidophilus.

Antibiotics are what I think caused my problems so I am staying away from them for awhile. As I mentioned I had to go on a very high dose of them twice due to strep throat and severe bronchitis. It was not a pleasant experience.

Carafate helped with my Gastritis pains and so does acidophilus.
