| Gardnerella vaginalis and Candida
I am testing positive for Gardnerella Vaginalis, which won't go away, and candida. I am put on Duolac and metronidazole, which make me very sick, get re-checked, test positive again,and start the process again. I am male. I recently returned to the Uk and saw both a specialist and a GP. Both said that I shouldn't worry, as the above aren't serious and don't need to be treated as I show no symptoms at all. However, interent sites all say that the above should be treated and my doctor in the country where I live says I should come back for my 10 antibiotics a day. I am only sick when on the antibiotics.
Can anyone offer any advice, as I'm confused by the contradictory information.
