Question Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

Stats
Age: 19 - Male
Height: 5'8
Weight: 73kg

update - I discovered I deffinetely have candida, Because I inspected my tongue, and it is covered with a thin white layer, which is more thicker towards the back of my tongue. EERRR it is disguitsting how can i get rid of it??????

and if thats what its like at the back of my tongue, and cant bare to imagine how much is down my throat!

how can i get rid of it fast?

My Symptoms:

1 - Fatigue Low energy - i feel i should feel more energetic
2 - Brain fog
3 - slurring of speech and slow to get words out sometimes
4 - Fatigue faster than most people that are around my body weight... in football, weight training...No matter how much training I do, i always get out of breath easily.
5 - Very slow to gain muscle and strength.. compared to some of my friends, and some of them smaller than me.
6 - Very hard to lose fat
7- Sleep much longer than other people, i'l sleep 10-12hrs a day, and still be yawning all day
8 - Low blood pressure
9 - Dark circles/eye bags
10 - Get cold easier than other people
11 - Anxiety
12 - Very coarse hair
13 - itchy scalp, recurring dandruff
14 - dry skin
15 - stretch marks on skin, and bumpy pores on skin
16 - acne marks on back
17 - Joint pain, feels like weak ligaments at my pelvic joint (espesially when shooting in football) and ankle joints.
18 - stiff joints, cant even sit down with my legs cross, my liggaments are too stiff and hurt. feel them stretching.
19 - slight knee pain
20 - random sinus pain in nose that i get sometimes, it slowly starts to sting more and more for a few secs then goes
21 - Ive been told that it seams like I dont breath when i sleep
22 - Hay fever every summer, sneaz alot etc. it only started from 11 years of age?
23 - when I lay down one nostril is always blocked
24 - I dont really sweat that much with 'strenuous' excercise (maybe because I cant even push myself that hard because of my low energy and fatigue?)
25 - frequent urination
26 - fluorosis
27 - excercise causes me to get thirsy very easily
28 - heart palpations
29 - after vigourous excersice like benching... i get tremors in my hands
30 - insomnia

My blood test results from 2008 and last week
Quote:
2008
Thyroid TSH: 0.91
Haemoglobin: 13.8
White count: 5.7
Platelets: 200
Glucose: 4.3
MCV: 82
Quote:
2010
Thyroid TSH: 1.8
Haemoglobin: 14.5
White count: 7
Platelets: 272
Glucose: 4.7
MCV: 83

Ferratin: 62
B12: 481
Folic acid: 4.4

Calcium: 2.48
Creatinine: 89
CRP: 1
LFT: normal
Bone: normal
Do they look normal? Isnt my MCV a little low?
And the docter said I was tested for celiac but it came back negative. What other tests can I have to see if Im Gluten Intolerant?

-------------------------------------

4-5 silver mercury fillings as a kid + vaccinations, would chelation be benificial?

Possible conditions?:

- Hypothyroidism
- Wheat or gluten intolerance
- Celiac sprue or disease
- Hypoglycemia
- Iron anemia
- B12 Anemia
- Folic acid anemia
- Chronic fatugue
- Candida
- Intestinal bleedin?
- Mitochondra problems?
- mercury and heavy metal accumilation

Most likely conditions, i think?:
- B12 Anemia
- Candida
- Wheat or gluten intolerance
- Mercury/heavy metal accumilation
- calcium/copper/zinc imbalance?
- sleep apnea
- sticky blood

Also - ive Given up dairy products 2 months ago now. so thats outa the picture.

*Enamel defect can be a by-product of celiac disease, due to insufficient uptake of calcium. Celiac is getting diagnosed more often these days due to doc's awareness ...

*Quote off the net: going on one of those no yeast, wheat, dairy, alcohol, caffeine or sugars type diet for a few weeks, plus taking probiotic and a good quality multivitamin i starved the yeast and i never looked back. After only two weeks of this i had much more energy.

*Heavy metal toxicity has many symptoms similar to vitamin B12 deficiency, as explained by the MELISA Society. Recent research in the US by Dr. Richard Deth and others also indicates that mercury and other toxic metals block vital biochemical processes known as the “methylation cycle”. The result of impaired methylation directly affects brain functioning.

Benificial supplements?:

- vitamin B12 booster spray
- Calcium/magnesium supplement
- Kefir
- Colloidal silver solution
- Colloidal Mineral supplements
- Humet-R (chelation/heavy metal detox supplement)
- Bentonite & Psyllium (bowel cleanse supplement)
- MMS (colonse cleanse supplement)
- liver cleanse?

Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

Boy, I don't know if I have answers for all your issues but the first thing that came to me was that you might be diabetic. You've listed alot of diabetic symptoms like frequent urination, dry skin, thirsty, anxiety, ....

#23 - get your nose checked to see if you've got a deviated septum.

Have you been tested for sleep apnea? It sounds like you might have that too.

What about allergy tests? What do your doctors say? Are they as baffled as you are?

Post Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

thanks for the reply. hmm im going to have to get more tests done. in my diet I hardly EVER eat sugar, except fruit. Il check out the sleep apnea test.

My doctor doesn’t seem that bothered, i got a blood test the other week, and he didn’t phone me or anything to tell me the results, I had to ring about something ELSE and then asked him 'oh yeh when will I get my results from my blood test', and he went 'oh I’ve already got them'....... So he wasn’t even going to tell me... shows how bothered he is. But he said everything is normal.

...which is typical of docters these days...but i dont feel normal. I feel like I'd have so much MORE potential if i didnt feel tired and had more energy in life.

He hasnt done any allergy tests yet, I asked him that I might need to be tested for gluten intolerance, but he said that I was tested for celiac in the blood test and it came out negative. But I said to him that a person doesnt neccesarily have to be celiac to be gluten intolerant.

P.S Ive also added my ferratin, b12 and folic acid levels to my blood test results.

im curretly waiting for my urin test results aswel.

Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

I thought i'd cut gluten out to see if thats the culprit. Ive been gluten free for 2 days now. On the 1st day i noticed i had NO GAS... whereas the day before I started gluten free, i had alot of gas and on that day I had wheat cereal and sandwiches etc...

on the 2nd day (today) i have had hardly any gas and i have felt like i have more energy and i am in a bettter mood.

so my gas going away, which cant be cause by a placebo effect, leads me to beleive that gluten has been playing a part towards my bad health symptoms.

any thoughts on this?

thanks

Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

I've had some of those symtoms and also tested negative for celiac. But felt so much better w/o gluten. Found out you can be sensitive to gluten even if you don't have celiac. Blood tests did me no good. I followed the advise of someone else and took a test thorugh a lab called Endolab. You have to pay for the test upfront, b/ insurance should fully reimburse you. This is a stool test, they test it for signs of inflimation in the digestive system and do a detailed analysis of your results. Been gluten free for two years and feel much beter. Good luck!

Talking Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

hmm. well ive been gluten free for a few days now. Im going to keep it up for a few weeks. and then il try reintroducing gluten and il see if i have any side effects, that way il know if im intolerant cos il KNOW how il feel.

Also I bought a uk berkey water filter, to filter out heavy metals, chlorine and bacterea from the water; all these factors could very well be contributing to my fatigue, seeing as I mostly drink TAP WATER that contains chlorine, and heavy metals from all the piping, and junk from the built-up lime scale in the entire water piping sytem in the UK.

All this will have been contaminating my drinking water for years, so my body should react well to having pure FILTERED water for once

1. you can't chelate with mercury dental amalgams in your teeth. they must be SAFELY removed under proper procedural conditions (dental dam et cetera)

2. candidas and mercury poisoning go hand in hand

3. if you do have mercury poisoning, chelation is long and can be difficult, but you will recover, so keep hope.

4. drink tons of water! mercury has to come out somehow.

Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

Hi for TSH one site has .5- 4.5/5 and a target of .3 to 3

A hair test for aluminum, and mercury or other metals can be done by a naturopath or M.D.

I would not use the bentonite as it contains aluminum which some people say may cause Alzheimers or other metal toxicity problems.
A Candida antibody blood titre can be done to check to see if Candida is present.

Some people have used a garlic paste made of 3-4 cloves of garlic applied on the tongue and left there 7-8 minutes and then washed away with a tall glass of water and then swallowed. This was done two times a day. For bad breath or apparently a tongue coating.

Was blood sugar tested?

I'd be careful diagnosing yourself based upon a white tounge with it being more white in the back. This is common. True thrush is thick and raised. Yes, you may have a coating but t does not mean its truly thrush. You sound anxious. I've been there. get yourself calmed down and take a break form examining your lab results. Nothing good comes from this. Go to a naturopath

Don't chelate!! You need to remove all your amalagams 1st before you do this!! Maybe you've removed them already???

How di dyou replace your water? Did you get it tested? Water will definately make us sick!!!! I had a Doctors Data Hair test and urnanium levels were off the charts! So i tested my water and sure enough, 9X's over the accepted amount. We got a reverse osmisis system in which filters it all out. Also, coliform was in the water and we had to flush the well. All is fine and safe now.

Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

Wow, your post shocked me in its detail. I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. I have experience with thrush (candidia?) from the premature birth of my kids and breastfeeding. I did lots of research on it and spoke with many professionals. Gentian Violet will cure it quickly. Nystatin, longer but apparently safer; no known risk of cancer.

I don't' want to be a bummer, but it is extremely rare for an adult to get thrush. It is a symptom of HIV/AIDS, or something equally frightening. You need to see a doctor immediately. Do not self treat. See a doctor!

Re: Slow thyroid? Mercury Poisoning? B12 Deficiency? Gluten Intolerance? Candida?

I'm sorry, I forgot to answer what I meant to answer. I was so distracted by the thrush thing...

I tested positive for a B12 deficiency last month. My feet/hands were going numb, concentration was low, tired, etc. My doctor thought it was MS at first! I have been taking supplements for 30-days and I feel much better.
