Treatments targeting lpr/reflux?

Hello, I'm trying to start a candida treatment protocol. My worst symptoms are reflux esophagitis and lpr (mucus/swelling in throat), though I have enough of the others too to sense a wider problem. Aside from the usual dietary recommendations, is there anything I can do to particularly target the candida in the stomach/esophagus area? I certainly feel like the bacterial imbalance there is causing most of my problems. Thanks!

Re: Treatments targeting lpr/reflux?

Hi, how do you know its Candida, have you been diagnosed. I thought I had the same but a blood test and Endoscopy showed me to have H.Pylori. I do get Candida in my mouth and for that I take NYSTATIN ORAL SOLUTION which targets the stomach also. I have also tried Grapefruit Seed Extract. Don't diagnose yourself, its always best to see your GP.
All the best, Solofelix.

Re: Treatments targeting lpr/reflux?

Have you heard of Apple Cider Vinegar? It can definitely help you. Its known to cure Candida infection better than any other treatment available! Just mix a tablespoon or two into a glass of water and drink it at a normal rate or sip it (don't chug, its not as effective). You can also mix it with some 100% juice to mask the taste if you'd like. Also, make sure you get raw apple cider vinegar. Pasteurized ACV is not effective as a health drink because there is no live culture in it. A great, reliable brand is Bragg's. You can find it at health food stores.
I drink ACV every day for overall health. It helps in so many ways... Its a cure all!
Best of luck!

Re: Treatments targeting lpr/reflux?

Thanks for the advice. I will give ACV a try. Do you know if it works for AR/GERD. What do you take it for apart from Candida.
I read somewhere that people with Candida should not have Vinegar in their diet.
Solofelix.

Re: Treatments targeting lpr/reflux?

Hi Solofelix,
Thanks for the advice. I've had an endoscopy but h-pylori was not mentioned; not sure if they tested for it. Do you believe there is a connection between the candida and the h.pylori? Are the symptoms similar?

Re: Treatments targeting lpr/reflux?

If you had an Endoscopy you would most likely have been tested for H.Pylori. They would have told you when you came round from the Endoscopy if you had it. What treatment were you prescribed. Yes! to your question H.Pylori v Candida, the symptoms are very similar. Solofelix.
