question

Hello- I have been wondering about several symptoms I have just started having.

My joints in entire body, along with the muscles, are very sore.

I know this sounds GROSS-sorry- but in bowel matter- there is a lot of mucus. Sometimes only mucus. Consitpated constantly. I have been wanting to do nothing but sleep in and nap. Have been majorly depressed as well, and I am already on Paxil.
I have a 99 temperature, and feel very uncomfortable.
I am otherwise healthy.
I was told about 25 years ago that I had Lyme disease- and had to take intraveneous antibiotics for a prolonged period of months.
I have since taken antibiotics at least once a year since then and I am now 41.
I started taking garlic supplements yesterday 2000 mgs three times a day- will this help?
I just ordered candida clear.
Does this sound like candida?
Thanks in advance.

Re: question

Candida will and does present many symptoms.
Its hard to say if you have Candida but its possible as you have taken many Antibiotics and they can cause this.
You need to take some good Probiotics after Antibiotics. You could also try Grapefruit Seed Extract from your Health-Shop.
I would advice you to consult with your Dr as you have other health issues.
I wish you well,

Solofelix.

Re: question

Jessicat:
I would go to a gastro dr for the mucus. If they don't find anything wrong then i would say it could be candida. Depending on where you live there is a blood test for candida. In NY we don't have that test. I wish they did. Also, like the others said, I would take probiotics and eat a healthy diet. Good luck. LaLa

Re: question

by the way...mucus in the stools is quite common with inflammatory bowel syndrome. so....your bowels may just be inflamed. try eating more fiber and see if it makes a difference.
