Hi, my name is Babe. My husband is completely disabled now with Post Polio and Intestinal disorders. I would like to give you people here a big hug! I know just how you feel. Sometimes it isn't easy being a shadow. Or sometimes it isn't easy that so many act as though you do nothing and their lives go on and leave you to do things alone. It isn't an easy life. Some say..God will bless you someday. Those who say this are kind. But somehow the hug is what we need a some time to call ours. HUGS!!!! BTW..I am new here.

Hi Babe! Thanks for the hug, and here is several for you. Yes, we all need to feel that what we do is important and appreciated. Only another caregiver truly knows this feeling. A star in our crown???No, just pray that the Lord does lead us through this dark period in our lives, and I know what care I give is very much appreciated. He would do the same for me.

Babe, caregivers do deserve hugs. I became a caregiver for my paralyzed husband in November. It is the hardest job that I have undertaken, but I would have it no other way. I pray every day for patience. If there are any tips to make it easier for both of us, let me hear. Thanks.
