EZ Bathe - Caregivers Message Board

Hi!
I'm new here. I have a 27 yr old son who needs complete personal care. It is getting too difficult to bath him in the shower. He cannot transfer from his wheelchair to the bath chair and then he does not sit properly. Anyway I was looking at the EZ Bathe (an inflatable tub you put on your bed) and it looks like it would work for us. Has anyone used this before? If you have is it a good product? I would love any replies.

I have a son with MD he is 17 now. What we did was to build a platform that lifts the bathtub up about 6 1/2 inches and use a hoyer lift to get him in out of the tub. You can leave the sling attached to the lift and bath the person that way. I don't know if this will help you.
