hi there!! i know what you are going through. eight years ago we went through the same thing. she had her leg amputated and i had to go to work to pay the bills and leave her alone while i worked. it sucked to. till a friend called me up and told me what i needed to do. have you tried calling welfare services where you live to help you. or the senior and disable sevices. its hard to know who to call. but we get help through our welfare here and its called copes. i hope you find what you need and good luck.

You need to get her on SSI, for her illness/disability.
And if she is accepted, the government will give you a monthly check for her.
Also try getting her on a welfare check or whatever,
but anyway they will pay for her medical bills.

Find a social worker. They should be able to advise you. I took care of my mom for a year and a half before she died. She had terminal cancer and was living off social security. It was challenging but there is help out there. You just have to find it.
