| Re: i am caregiver but do not know how to cook help
You obviously have been eating food for all your life and have some idea what is in food and know the difference whether food was boiled, baked, sauted, roasted, grilled.
It is a given that you can learn very quick if your heart desires.
If you can boil water, you can cook. Just grab a cookbook and get with it!
The internet has many recipes, nutrition information as and menus. Info for special diets is also available.
Food choices will depend on what your client can and cannot have in their diet.
If you are caring for a family member, they will be able to help advise how to do this or that in cooking, that is if it is a woman you are caring for. If it is a man, not so sure.
If you are hiring out to take care of people, you should never take a job that expects you to cook until you learn how. Did they not check out your qualifications?
