i know the condition is very difficult for the person diagnosed as bipolar.

i find it very difficult as a husband and carer for my wife who is bipolar.i am struggling with depression myself as a result of trying to deal with my wifes setbacks and problems.i have supported her way beyond what any reasonable person should need to .i am the buffer between her and the rest of the family who would disown her if they new what was really going on.i only stay because we look after our grandchildren regularly. the big problem is she drinks sometimes when we are looking after them .i have lied on so many occassions to protect her.and it hurts so much to do this to my family.i know it is only a matter of time before it all falls apart.i will then be left with nothing
