I have carpal tunnel in both hands. Plan on doing one hand at a time. How long did you need to stay off work after the surgery? Also, do they put you to sleep for the surgery or not?

Hi.

After my surgury, I could type with one or two fingers...but slowely (on the hand that was operated on).

I would say two weeks to type pretty well.
