I go and see the orthropedic surgeon that specializes in the back Thursday for the problem I am having. I don't know what type of treatment he will offer me or if he suggest surgery. On the internet I used Google.com and looked up hernaited disk in the C-spine or neck. It said the recommended treated was antiinflamatories, bedrest, or surgery. It will be up to the Dr. Will let you know what he recommends. I would suggest you see a specialist or a neurologist that is the one that recommended that I have a MRI and then my medical Dr. who referred me to the neurologist after he got the MRI results referred me to the orthropdic specialist. My has progressed to worse since I have had the problems with CTS and the O.T. that did my FCE said that he was worried about my shoulders that they were not working as they should but the Dr. that did surgery on my hands said he had done all he could do and didn't know what was causing the pain. Don't give up you have to keep trying. I now keep a headache all the time, have pain and numbness all the time and my neck, shoulders and arms hurt all the time. I had gotten to the point I had to do something and hopefully the Dr. can tell me something Thursday will let you know Good luck and God Bless
