I had bi lateral CT release but mine was edoscopic. They did both hands on the same day and was sore for a while. Went to PTfor 2 months 3 x week which really helped. I have known people who haven't had the PT and aren't doing that great so if you are given a choice like I was take it! They sent me back to work too soon but after 2 days of working he put me back on workers comp. After a few more moths I went back to work doing the same thing and 6 months later back at the Dr and now I am in Vocational rehab. I can't go back to doing what I was doing before but I feel soo much better ! Give yourself enough time to heal properly and don't try to over do it. If all goes well you should be feeling almost 100% in a few months. I know that there are people who have had the surgery and not had great results but mine was good as long as I don't do too many repeatitive things like typing too much.
