 Anyone try Topamax?
Saw the neurologist this morning -- he says my EMG (done by another doc, not a neuro) was wierd and that not enough muscles were tested (I knew that!). At any rate, he says I do have CTS and is doing another EMG soon.
In the meantime, he's given me Topamax -- has anyone ever tried it?
[Giggle: He wanted to give me something else, but when I asked if a side effect was weight gain, he said yes; I said "forget it!" (I'm about 30 pounds overweight anyway due to thyroid problems). Instead he gives me Topamax -- which has a side effect of weight *loss*. Boy, am I'm glad I asked!]
