Does anyone have triangular fibrocartilage complex injuries?
I finally found out this is what I have. I had pain mostly on the pinky side of my wrist that travelled down my arm to my elbow and into my fingers. There's a triangular shaped piece of cartilage right on the outside of the wrist that might be torn. I've had two months of physical therapy which reduced the pain to just the spot where the cartilage is but the improvment has stopped there.
Now, I'm off to the hand specialist to see if I need surgery. I hope not but it's no fun to feel like someone's stabbing an ice pick into your wrist.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Didn't know where else to post this...I usually post on pain management.
Thanks, ~Mush
