| Re: Cubital Tunnel and multiple compressions
Yikes.......I really empathize with you - I also experienced the cubital tunnel due to a lovely auto accident - I was at a dead stop and hit from behind at 50 mph......so my wrists....elbows...oh even thinking about it makes me ache. I lived on Vioxx (thank god it was around then)........ice packs hands to elbows......numbness, tingling.......Now the part you really don't want to hear........It was truly a year and a half before I was almost back to normal.....I have been a groomer for 20 years - so it really had an effect on me due to my livelihood and income. After the full 2 years - I can say I am finally back to what I used to be. I apparently didn't have the compressions, per se,......had the MRI -s - and I didn't settle with the insurance company until the year and a half point. I have no experience with the workman's comp. issue - but I know most people don't believe it's as bad as it is. If you don't have a good attorney - don't think your own insurance people are going to go to bat for you. My own car insurance company didn't want me getting an attorney - then I found out they share in the bonus pool - so they obviously don't want their own clients filing. Good luck!
