It depends on how bad it is.
I had MILD ct in my right arm. 2 or 3 yrs later it was gone.
If it's bad--you could cause permanent nerve damage by waiting. You're far too young to do that to yourself. If you've gone to get it checked out, you should follow the doc's advice if they say to have surgery.
It's actually a pretty simple procedure, and recovery was less painful than the pain before surgery....
