The surgery is called anterior ulnar nerve transposition. There are 3 variations to it - subcutaneous (under the skin), submuscular (under the muscle) or intermuscular (between the muscle). The subcutaneous option is the most widely used. I understand the other two are more complicated and have more risks associated. I am not a doctor, but have been researching this extensively, as I am scheduled for my surgery next week, Feb 21st. I am having the subcutaneous version. Hope all goes well with you.
