I've been a tilesetter for 15 years and because of the constant motion of spreading mortar with my trowel, last year I found myself waking up in the middle of the night with that intense pins and needles feeling in my thumb wrist and two fore fingers. It gradually became extreme pain in my wrist and that meaty part of the thumb. Went to the doctor had all the tests and it was CTS. I had a month long wait to have a surgical consult. In that time I couldn't sleep, pain killers did nothing wrist splints did nothing, so I started looking around on the net. I found an article about a doctor in texas giving people injections of vitamin B6 and it was relieving their CTS. So I went to Walmart and bought 100mg caps of B6 pretty cheaply. I took three 100mg caps a day and wore the wrist splint at night, within two days the pain was gone! I quit wearing the splint at night after a week. I canceled my appointment with the surgeon and haven't had so much as a twinge since. I continue to take the B6, only two a day when I remember and haven't had any problems since. It worked for me so I thought I'd pass it on. Hope it works for you.
