| Just had mini carpal tunnel release surgery
Hello to anyone suffering from CTS:
On 1/3/08, I had mini CT release surgery on my left hand, and on 3/27/08 I had the same sugery on my right hand. This surgery is a one-inch incision in the palm with two stitches. My surgeon recommends it over laparoscopic because he says he can see what he's doing better than if he's looking at a screen, so there's less risk of damaging a nerve.
He told me it would take 3 to 6 months before the pain and scar tissue go away, so I'm learning to be patient. If you have any questions let me know.
