severe pain in wrist when using after surgery
I had my third carpal tunnel surgery. This time, the doctor used something called a fat flap to help cover the nerve. right after surgery, the tingling was horrible. Now the tingling has subsided quite a bit, but about three months after surgery, my wrist felt very tight, and only gets tighter and more painful when I use it. It is so bad, that when I have opened five envelopes to read the mail, my wrist and my fingers are killing me. my wrist was tight and my fingers burned.
I have seen so many doctors -- to no avail. I have had MRIs, EMG's, and bone x-rays. They all say everything is normal. I know for a fact this is not normal because it has limited me in my life. The pain is severe. Before surgery, a cortisone worked great to help relieve pain and wrist tightness. I tried a cortisone shot after surgery, but it did nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions??? Does anyone know if there's any help for a failed carpal tunnel surgery?
Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.! I am in desperate need of some kind of advice.: (
