My only advice is don't have ctr surgery unless it's so bad that you can't live a normal life. Make sure you've tried resting, taking time off the grooming, massage therapy and other methods of fixing it. Sounds like you have. Theres no way for us to predict if the surgery will help you, but if you have true cts then most likely it will help.

Just make sure you know the side effects and complications, I wish I never had ctr, but that's just my opinion. Good luck

Re: Help need somebody to give advice asap

It's past the date that you would have had surgery, so did you go ahead with it? I think having the surgery probably was necessary. I've had both hands done in 2005 and my right hand done a second time in 2009. I was told that pain from cts can follow up your arm and even where your collar bone and bra strap (I see you're female), would come together. IT's all where the median nerve is. Before I had surgery the first time I would drop at least one thing each day. Sometimes more than once a day. This is a good indicator that you needed surgery. The numbness will go away. Swelling is to be expected after surgery. Also, don't make the mistake of having your other hand done too soon, if that needs surgery. My mistake was to wait only 3 months in between. That caused cts to come back in my right hand due to scar tissue that built up as a result of doing too much too soon. Good luck.
