Carpal tunnel

3 years ago I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel ( a mild case then ). The only thing I was told was that I could get an injection in my wrist. I refused. Hate needles.. Now I have pain in my hand, wrist, arm, elbow shoulder and neck. But because I am uninsured no doctor wants to do anything until I am 65 and on medicare. I was told last week that I also have a pinched nerve in my neck. I am now waiting on an appointment to be scheduled in ortho. That could take months. Does anyone have any advice ? I was thinking if I went to the Er I could get an earlier referral. I have been taking Neurotin and it has not helped.

Re: Carpal tunnel

Have you tried a Chiropractor? A few years ago, I had pain in both hands at night. I went to a Neurologist. He ran a series of conduction tests and said I had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and referred me to surgeon to have it operated on. Then a friend told me about his experience with similar pain in his hand. While he was at a Chiropractor for some industrial tests he needed for his work, he mentioned the pain in his hand. The Chiropractor treated him (over 3 months) and he was cured. So, I went to the Chiropractor, and after 3 months of treatment, I have no more pain in my hands.

Re: Carpal tunnel

Heard from my doctor today . Radiologist who read the MRI says I need to see a neurosurgeon. Not sure what will happen next.
