wrist pain 2 months after injury.

Hi everyone,

I had an injury 2 months ago. I fell backwards on my wrist and it really hurt that time.
I went to an ortho the next day for an X-Ray. He said nothing broke.
I also had a follow up X-Ray 15 days later and still there was no fracture.

However, the pain has subsided to a very large extent.
It was horrible the first 3 days I could not lift anything.
But it is okay now.

But when I put pressure on the wrist at a 90 degree angle to the forearm.
Or when trying to do push ups, I get a sharp pain on the wrist.

Could anyone please tell me what the problem could be.???

Could be that the muscles down deep are still bruised. With carpal tunnel you have pain that starts on the back of your hand towards the thumb, forefinger and middle finger. Doesn't sound like you have that.

Re: wrist pain 2 months after injury.

You must take breaks while doing the workouts as they put a lot of stress on the wrists. If the pain persists donít exert a lot of pressure as they may damage the point. You must apply ice after doing the pushups so that the pain can be controlled to some extent.
