Re: celiac disease?
My 10 year old daughter has celiac disease and follows a gluten free diet and has for nearly 3 years. Celiac disease is an inablility to digest gluten, which is found in wheat, rye and barley, and in contaminated oats. It is an autoimmune disorder and does run in families. Once you start following a strict gluten free diet, you'll feel so much better and as your small intestine heals, you will most likely be able to have dairy again, as your lactose intolerance will diminish after being gluten free for a time.
