You may well have other sensitivities, such as dairy, that is keeping your GI tract riled up. I would eliminate all dairy for awhile as well as gluten, and keep a food diary to pick up any other hidden food allergies. It is not easy. I know, I am on a gluten, dairy, yeast free diet and have issues with almonds, walnuts, and a few other things. The gluten and dairy restrictions must be very strict to really assess the effect, so get familiar with reading all labels and finding hidden gluten sources in soy sauce, licorice, many sauces and canned foods. Fresh food will be your best friend-that which you cook yourself and know what is in it. Many restaurants and wait people don't have a clue.
