Question Can anyone relate?

Hey all..
Sorry to post here as I have not been tested for CD, or a gluten allergy..

I'm a 25 year old female, and for a while now (probably about a year and a half or so, but worsening over time) I have had a few weird things going on with my body.. Looking for any insight as to what may cause this

Some of the things I have been experiencing as of late include:
-Lack of energy, constant fatigue (especially after eating some meals), despite the amount of sleep I get
-Stomach pains, nausea after eating certain meals
-Headaches
-Frequent bowel movements.. Seems to either be constipation or diarrhea, not much in between
-Worsening PMS symptoms.. Told it was PMDD by my ob/gyn.. Now on antidepressants
-Irrational irritability, mood swings lately.. normally pretty mellow

These are just a few of my symptoms here.. Starting to get really annoyed trying to stay awake during the day.. Ruining my motivation to do anything.

The only reason I am posting here is that my father (who currently has Lou Gherig's) used to have issues eating bread.. He would immediately fall asleep afterwards, and apparently had 'silent seizures' that we were all unaware of.
I hear that CD or allergy to gluten can be genetic so I'm wondering if that is my issue

Any ideas would be great

Those are some of the symptoms for Celiac. There are over 300.

You should consider getting a Celiac blood panel done to test for Celiac. You have to be eating gluten in order or the test to be effective.

If you don't want to be tested, go gluten free for 3 months and see how you feel.

Re: Can anyone relate?

Thanks for your response

I think I am going to go ahead and try a gluten free diet for a while and see if anything improves

Re: Can anyone relate?

Good luck. FYI, when I became Celiac, I also developed an intolerance to soy. Soy is in a lot of foods. Something to be aware of if you still get nauseous after eating something gluten free.
