I had raise my son whom has severe cerebral palsy for 10 years. His situation is very involved He has no speech,has to be feed and toileted and he uses a wheelchair. However he knows everthing that is happening some days are good and some are bad.

At the age of ten, being that I became a single parent I had to place him in a developmental disable nursing home in Conta Costa County in Cailfornia.
It has not been a easy transition he has been transfered to his third home in seven years due to home closure and has had to transfer therapist and schools each time. This has not only effected his progress but the lack of consistancy has been the worst for him. I decided to rearch programs that offered community living with school and home attached to the one program that had been in place with a long history and came up with the top of the line all which were located back East New York area, One was MELMARK and Discovery Center these were private institutes that were located in Catskill hills with living and school programs along with community functions so that they were not just locked away from society, However these programs are PRIVATE. Which meant they were very exspensive 200,000 a year.
My hope is that I could find a way to set up a fund for him and find sponcers to send him there.
Another thought was to do a web page exsplaining his situation to find sponcers. I have little knowlege of making a web page and was in hope there is someone who could help me do this.
I could send you all the information needed to design a web page for this cause.
I'm hoping to offer him a fair chance at life and as long as we are gifted with the tools to access knowledge and resourses that we are so lucky to have maybe we could offer it to a child whom has no means of reaching out and trying to get the best there is to offer here.
