| child with mild cp
My son has mild spastic diplegia. He is 4 1/2. He has had botox in his gastrox, we did a round of serial casting (which I was really happy with), and he wears AFO's and night splints. His rehab dr. now wants to do more botox in his adductors and then he was talking about doing some manipulations of his ankle on his left foot. this would all be done under sedation. The mani.. sounds like he will be twisting and turning his foot trying to pop the tendons.
I am a little reluctant about this, so is his PT. Has any one ever heard of this or had it done.
