| Re: Foot Issues
Hey Joe! I'm 16 with spastic right hemiparesis, but can relate to the "feeling 90" thing, even though my family makes fun of me.
My toes aren't naturally hammertoes; they straighten. However, occasionally when I move my foot the wrong way/step on it after a long period of rest/stretch it accidentally, a muscle/tendon (still not sure what it is at this point) spasms almost instaneously and actively partially PULLS my toes underneath my foot so that they appear to be hammertoes. This is very painful and renders me unable to move until the spasm abates. We think this may be related to the fact that I wore an AFO for ten years, and haven't worn one for about 6.
