Collecting plastic bottle tops for a wheelchair....please help!!!!!
I have an 8 year old daughter, Courtney, who suffers from cerebral palsy. I have recently heard that you can collect plastic bottle tops to the weight of the child in exchange for a wheelchair. I have searched the internet but not been able to find anything positive, most just saying that this is all a scam......So here I am asking anyone that may have any information or who may have previously done this to contact me and let me know where to start looking to find out more...

Hi I have never heard of that b4.You may want to look at where she goes to physical therapy.There are families that may donate or sell what they no longer need.most wheelchairs for a child that age is fitted for one for a number of years.depending on the insurance.I hope this helps some.

I'm sorry, this is a scam. It's not true. There are many versions of this hoax going around the internet. Sometimes it's pull tabs, sometimes it's bottle caps. Sometimes it's for wheelchairs, or dialysis or chemotherapy. They are all scams to prey on innocent people. Please do not fall for it.

All that I have found is about the scams that are being pulled off with the which is a shame, keep meaning to ask the physio as it may help others but thankfully our local social services have agreed to refit Courtney for a wheelchair so fingers crossed she shall have one that does what she needs it too soon x x x

Hi Yes i have heard of this my girlfriend was telling me about collecting water bottle caps for some small child that needed of help,excuse me but i cant remember the reason of the childs illness, but i could ask her im from new jersey if i could help you please let me know .Thankyou your friend alwayswithme.
