Stem cell therapy any good for adults with cp?

i realize that there is no current stem cell treatment for cp in the usa or at least i am unaware of one.... the question i have is based on cp the brain damage and so on are we likely to actually benefit from stem cells? The way i look at it is this... brain damage caused the cp and if a partial repair were to be made to that damaged tissue the person with cp may have less severe symptoms.
