Are there any groups around for CP Adults?

Are there any groups around for CP Adults? I have a 33 year old step-son with mild CP. He has progressed remarkably in the 8 years I've known him. He now lives on his own and cares for himself completely. He tries to make friends on line but we would be happier if he met more appropriate people that wont try to take advantage of him. Is there some way to find appropriate groups for him to make friends in person?

Hi,
Where do you live?

If your in the UK the charity Scope will help you to find an apropriate group. They have alot of information and bring people with similar types of CP together.

If your not in the UK I'm sure there must be something similar where you are, there may even be a link on their website.

You could surf around on the net or ask your doctor, therapist or whoever doctor is in close contact with you. Someone who knows about CP. I would be surprised if they didn't know about groups.
