Pediatric Treadmill

My child is due to have SDR in St Louis in a few months for spastic diplegia, and I am trying to source a treadmill for her to use in home rehab when we get back here. They use a treadmill in rehab in the hospital and I would like to get her one that she can use -- preferabley with low handles or sidebars.

Can anyone help me find one?
Thanks

Have you looked on ebay or craigslist? Your PT may know of a good place to find one, too. Or maybe the folks in St. Louis will know of one.

Hello,
There are many organizations out there that donate transportation and/or equiptment that is used for PT. My niece recently got a bike esp. customed made for her leg length, and CP needs. Although, you do have to qualify for some of these organizations and if you don't, they do offer payment options. You just have to research for those groups in your area and even ask those people if they can't help you, if they know someone who can....if you don't care about buying the equipment outright, I believe there are parts you can buy to customize the equipment for safe PT. Good luck.
