disability claim

I having been going through the process of trying to win my disability case..a month or so after my 18th birthday I was cut off from benefits. I started my case 5 months later may 18th 2008 and april 1st 2009 I was denied at the admin.hearing my lawyer applied for an appeal december 14th 2009 and in my area it takes 6 to 12 months to get a date before the judge so I'm guessing by next month.

Basically I'm seeking any advice you can share on winning this thing...I have had surgery after surgery as a child and it helps..but we all no cerebral palsy does not go away! So idk why this has been an on going ordeal for almost 3 years.

For two years I have been looking for work but can't get hired any were and I doubt I can maintain a job because I can't sit or stand to long and I really feel as if the employers. Already have there minds made up about me,I have trouble getting around as CP affects my motor skills and I walk with a limp....sorry for the long post

Re: disability claim

I'm sorry you have to go thru the ssdi process. I know this day in time its hard enough to find a job for healthly people let a lone if you have noticeable things wrong with you. I think maybe there are department of disability services and rehab departments somehwere near where you live that may can help you try searching for people with disabilities and see. I to have c/p and I have woerded all my life but know am showing real bads signs of my body changeing. Keep fighting and dont give up on ssdi. keep appealing . good luck to you I'll be praying for you.
