Hi All.
I am new to the forum and am from Cape Town in South Africa.
My 3 year old son has spastic diplegia (or so they think, i read something about dystonia/dystonic tone) in his file which made me really panic) and recently had his second round of botox and casts that stayed on for 5 weeks. He took to the casts well and was talking steps on his own.
A week ago, the casts came off and he has been complaining of foot pain. I am unable to put shoes on him without him screaming. He no longer has the will stand or take any steps. His legs seem really weak. I have AFO's for him but they really hurt him.
Because I am on a government program, he only attends physio once a month and I have to do most of the exercises at home.
Has anybody experienced the same thing after the casts? Any suggestions, advice?
