From therapy to real world
My little boy is four years old. He has sensory processing disorder, we have found success with working with an OT and SLP and have just started doing bowen therapy as well and now my son is sitting up better and tolerating more messy play. His OT and SLP at move and talk therapy are amazing - they are so good with my son and he loves going to therapy- and he doesn't like going anywhere! They even set up a play-date therapy group for him with another little boy just like him - so cute!
It has been suggested that I take my son out for a March break activity that involves messy play (like arts and crafts). Just, so he can work on his skills in the 'real world'
Any advise on where to go? Perhaps a place that has worked with children with special needs?
Thank you and Happy March Break!
