 7 year old with vision problems
A few months back my daughter was reffered to a child health nurse after failing a routine eye check at school.
I took her to the health nurse who said she had 6/6 vision in her right eye but only 3/6 in her left. Up until this point she had no trouble reading and I had not noticed her squinting etc.
I was referred to an optometrist but months have passed and we still haven't made the appointment.
On Sunday she complained of her left eye being blurry. I thought maybe she just had something in her eye but she is still complaining about it. I have made an appointment for tomorrow at the optometrist but it worries me that it could be something more.
When I questioned her she said she quite often has trouble with her left eye at school while she is reading.
Any ideas?
