Exclamation clear worms in poop ?!?

My daughter is 13, a while ago she used the restroom and she called me in. There were clearish-white wiggling worms in her poop.(sorry no other name I can think of at this moment ) I am a little worried . I have no idea what it could be... I checked her temp. and there was none she also told me that she wasn't feeling sick at all. She had just recently been to Disney World, a water park, and some springs with her school, could there of been something in the water? If you have any info please help...
Thank you
-Worried Mother

what she has is common for children. Take her to the doctor to be checked out and the doc can perscribe something to get rid of the worms. i don't think it's harmful, but it shouldn't be left to clear up on it's own.

It sounds like she has pinworms. It's very common in children. They just started selling a pin worm medication in grocery stores for this problem. It's very important to have her wash her hands after using the bathroom too be cause the eggs of these worms can get under her finger nails and if she puts her fingers in her mouth, she will re-infect herself.

It definitely sounds like pinworms and the infection can be passed from person to person by cross contamination or unsanitary conditions. When my girls were little and the one got pinworms, all of us had to take the medication in the family. Now that was quite a while ago, so things might have changed and the medication was a prescription. Pinworms come out at night usually and lay eggs outside the rectum. Usually the itching is worse at night because this is when they are active.
