my son will be 2 next month, he is now in a booster seat, the one WITH the back, it only straps in with the car seatbelt, every once in a while he will reach over and unbuckle it, thank god yesterday it caught my eye and told my hubby to pull over goin down the highway, i smack his hand and tell him that its bad, and he could get a boo boo, is there any kind of cover that anyone has heard of that covers the buckle part?

I usually turn the thing that the belt goes into backwards, that always works cause then they can't reach the button to open it.

He is way too young for that kind of seat, even with the back. he is too young to sit in it properly as you have already found out. Boosters are not as safe as 5 point harness seats. It is best to keep him in a 5 point harness for as long as possible.

we only have one car, and its a tiny 2 door one and he got too tall to fit in the backseat in a regular carseat thats why we bought it, it said 30 to 100 lbs and he meets the height requirements too
