Goats Milk Formula, Anyone Know of it? - Children's Health Message Board

Have searched and searched and found some in the United Kingdom. Does anyone know of anyplace to get some in North America???? I know that
goats milk is easier to digest for many infants but even with supplements
it has not quite enough nutrition for babies under one year especially those
with special needs. So if any information on Goats Milk Baby Formula please
post here and let me know. Thank you.

I personally don't know of a formula, but I know you can buy Goats Milk at the grocery, at least at ours, but I live in a large city and we have health grocery stores that carry it.

Yes, we can find goats milk no problem but it is the goats milk formula that is hard to
find. But thanks!!

I think I know of babies who were fed on straight goat's milk, including one who was a pediatrician's daughter. Just a few decades ago, that was what most motherless babies drank. It has the same macronutrient balance as mother's milk. No iron, of course, but babies under 6 months don't need it and older babies get some from cereal. Of course, if your baby has special needs...

Thanks for the info, our grandson's nutrionist says that just straight goats milk is not the best for him as he needs the formual ingredients I guess. He was brain injured at birth
HIE diagnosed and possible CP.
