hi my baby is 16 months old. i think she is very small

she weighs 16 lbs and is 32 ins long please tell me is this normal

It sounds normal to me. She's on the long and lean side. If you're really concerned, mention it to your pediatrician.

If she is under the 5th percentile for ht and wt you may want to visit an endocrinologist.

My son is 2years old and he is 23 pounds 35 inches long. Now he has Duane and Wildervanck Syndrome among other health issues. Failure to thrive is a delay in physical growth and weight gain that can lead to delays in development and maturation
He was prescribed boost kids essentials 1.5 cal with fiber. It is lactos free and has 355 calories per 8oz box, he drinks two a dayand high fat diet. She states he needs to see a nutritionists too... at this point waiting for insurance to get back with me on when he will be approved to see her.

Best thing to do is to ask her primary and see what he/she thinks.. Hope this helps..
