Re: what does it mean when you move baby while sleeping and he shakes

honestly? this was just more than likely the baby being 'startled"? this is what we tend to do too when someone suddenly awakens us or we hear a loud noise while we are sleeping too. you know what i mean? but if this lasted more than a couple seconds(like a more continuous shaking that does not stop),THEN i would really watch him or her a bit more closely for anything similar or any tremor types of movements and also report this to the babys ped doc too. but more than likely, this was just a normal startle. just watch for anything else that may show if this does not sound like what i described as simple startling upon being touched or actually moved while sleeping. that sudden type of movemnt would be pretty normal/likely under normal circumstances. please let me know if you happen to notice something else not normal,K? but everything is more than likely totally normal for what you simply did while the baby was asleep. marcia
