2 year old with pneumonia

My two year old has pneumonia. Her fever stays at 101 when she has ibuprofen, but then jumps up to 104-105 when the ibuprofen wears off. Okay, no big deal, fever means her body is fighting the pneumonia. I'm not worried about it. I wouldn't even bother with the ibuprofen, but she got an antibiotic shot from her doctor, and it bothers her when her temp jumps to the 104 range.

My question is, how long should the fevers last, and how long should it take to get over the pneumonia. I guess that's more than one question.... oops....

Only one of my other kids has ever had pneumonia, and that was my oldest (7 years old) and she was about 18 months old at the time, so it's been awhile.
