12 week old baby violently sick after nearly every feed ?
I have a 12 week old baby who is bottle fed on cow and gate milk , but after every fed he brings all the fed back and is violantly sick , he seems to be constantly full of wind and i am struckling to keep any of his bottles down , he will then want feeding early because hes hungry and then again will be violantly sick , but he is alert and doesnt have any temperature and has been like this all week . does this sound like reflux???? and does anyone have any tips???

A twelve week old baby should be having formula or breast milk only!!! Their digestive systems are WAAYYY too immature to handle cows milk at this stage. Cows milk should not be introduced until at least a year of age. I'm guessing that is the root of your problem.

Hi I would agree with the other poster mother's milk is better and usually tolerated better according to what I was told. I read somewhere years ago that mother's milk has white blood cells in it from what I understand that helps give the baby a better immune system.

Maybe ask the doc about switching to a soy based formula? I had to do this my son when he was an infant. It happened almost the same way - he was ok on reg. formula for a while and then started having similar problems along with rashes. He improved immediately after switching to soy based formula.

Formula in the USA does not have cows milk in it. maybe your baby is having projectile vomiting. Maybe a change in the formula will help I suggest you talk with your babies doctor about this

Hi a relative of mine had an atresia. If the valve of the stomach is closed or partly closed this could cause a problem similar to this. A flu might also do it. I am still eager to see what the doctor said if desired to tell us.
