Son with OCD
 

My 11 yr old son has an OCD of touching/tapping things ,I think he has to do it a certain amount of times....even number..I think! He also sometimes does it with his steps too. Does anyone else's children have this ??? Just curious to how you dealt with it? It's a very delicate/difficult situation to deal with . Would like to hear other people's similar experiences . X

jellebeans--I just posted for the first time on here and searched to find a similar post by you. I think my daughter has OCD too---I know you posted looking for advice, but I think I may need you are a bit ahead of me in dealing with this, so I was looking for your advice. Has your son by diagnosed with anything? you mentioned in an older thread post a head shaking thing, did that resolve itself, and was that part of the OCD? Sorry for asking for advice when you are looking for it.
