Hi I have been diagnosed with ebv and cfs but was wondering of anyone else has been diagnosed with carpet tunnel syndrome as part of the course. I seem to have alot of problems with my joints. Could this be related???

Sometimes the Dr.s say its fine when it's not. Get your TSH results, if they are over 2 and you feel like crap you may have a problem. Mine was 3.3 and I felt awful. The standard they go by is in the range .5 - 6. The Dr.s said it was fine and there was nothing wrong with me. I went to a naturopath and she gave me some thyroid booster pills and my TSH is now 2.08 and I feel much much much better. Sometimes it is not the TSH but the conversion of T4 to T3. T3 is what the body actually uses. So you need Free T4 and Free T3 tests. Free T4 should be well in the mid range and Free T3 should be above 4 (for optimum health) Usually the Dr.s will tell you you don't need these tests. I paid for mine myself just so I would know. Where I'm from the Dr.s won't do anything but the naturopaths will. So please check it again.
